Second Life, Interrupted

So many of us go through life not even noticing what we are doing. We don’t realize what is going on around us, or the affect we have on others. We just “do” life.  We wake up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch some TV then go to bed, just to wake up and do it all over again the next day. We count the days until the weekend when we can sleep in for one or two days, socialize with friends or catch up on chores or just “chill”. Then Monday rolls around again and the routine of the week begins again.

Then Avenue Fashion Week happened (Sept. 29 – Oct. 5, 2013).  If there was a show that the fashion world has waited to see this is it.  Among the designers I wanted to flash you with, is Ozi.  Ngozi Faith took Ozi to the catwalk again this year at AFW with clean, simple black and white fashion combos.  It’s a must have in everyone’s wardrobe.

Polka Dot Friday

Liv-Glam “Lea” Print Dress and Jacket

This month has been very busy for me with RL work and traveling so now I’m trying to play catch up with my blogs and styling.  It is something I enjoy doing and I try to post something once every day if not save as drafts to post for later.

One of my favorite patterns are polka dots.  It’s feminine and fun to style like this new “Lea” Print dress and jacket from Liv-Glam.  I adore the contrasting patterns between the skirt and the jacket.  It has an awesome and unique color hud that I have never seen before and it was very easy to use.  This is a fun casual outfit, it goes great with tights and bold accessories.

I’m With You

  There is a stripe dress for every occasion.  It enhances the body by tricking the eye. The new “Mait” dress, by InMonster, is one of those dresses that will never go out of style.  It makes me feel classic yet contemporary at the same time.  The stripes are softened by the fur on the shoulders, which can be worn with or without, dressed up or dressed down.

  I added some fun accessories such as the “Cross Collar” set with earrings from MONS and the new “Midnight Princess” clutch from H.M.A.E.M. giving a splash of color to the whole ensemble.
