Understated Elegance

PRISM “Charmie” Dress in Montreal

I had the honor to be a blogger for PRISM, thanks to Maia McKeenan for asking me to join and to Journey McLaglen for her beautiful designs.   One of the dresses I wanted to first blog from Prism, is the “Charmie” Dress in Montreal.  It’s simplicity and it’s flawless fits remind me that fashion does not always have to be an in your face statement.  Understated elegance is always beautiful.

Peace On Earth Hunt with Lush Limited

The time has come, the annual Peace On Earth Gridwide Hunt is here.  After five years and over 200 designers, it has become one of the biggest hunts on SL.  Gifts ranging from clothing for men and women, furniture, toys, hair, poses, to accessories.  It is one event you will not want to miss.  The hunts starts on Saturday, Dec. 1 and goes until Jan. 6, 2013.

One of the featured designers in the hunt is Lush Limited.  Remember in Charlie Brown when the adults would talk?  Well this shirt is named The “Muwmp Mump Shirt” from Lush Limited.  It is not available in store yet and is exclusive for the POE5 Hunt.

Pretty In Peplum

Playing up this new fall fashion of Peplum dresses, this ultra-feminine dress with an off the shoulder fur with a hint of asian flair from VoguE is one that I am j’adore with.  In Greek, peplum means tunic.  In case you don’t know what a peplum dress is, it’s a dress with a bit of extra (ruffly) fabric around the waist.  It is figure flattering and hugs you in the right places showing off them curves you’ve got.

Zalyn Bailey named The “Ananya” dress after my lovely friend Ananya Mai, Miss Malaysia MVW.  The dress was featured during BOSL Fashion Week is now available in the mainstore inworld and comes in various colors.  Demos are available in store to try on.
